register⁵⁵ have implemented the following strategies to ensure your sensitive information is kept secure.

SSL encryption

Once you hit the 'checkout' button, all data entered into the forms provided is transmitted using industry-leading 128-bit encryption, meaning that even if it is intercepted during the transmission, it cannot be abused.

No credit card details stored

register⁵⁵ use your credit card details to authorise a payment on the card in real-time. The authorisation is a fully automated process between our web server and the bank / credit card provider's backend systems – this data is also fully encrypted and sent over a secure SSL connection. Once the authorisation is granted, your credit card details are deleted and we communicate to the bank / credit card provider's using the authorisation reference number only. None of our staff is able to view, retrieve, or store your credit card details.

PayPal checkout as an option

If you choose to use PayPal, register⁵⁵ only receives an authorisation code from PayPal, and never has access to your credit card details or your PayPal account.
